Purpose in pain

Updated: 6 hours ago

Life can be full of unexpected turns. One moment, everything seems fine, and the next, we're thrown into chaos that challenges our very core. My journey after the car accident has been exactly that—a roller coaster of emotions, pain, and self-discovery. Some days, I wake up with a sense of acceptance, ready to face whatever lies ahead. But on other days, I find myself engulfed in a sea of anger and frustration, questioning why this had to happen to me. I've had moments where I've cried out, "Why me, God? What purpose could this pain possibly serve?" During this turmoil, there was a moment of clarity in the simplest of places—the shower. As a song played, I felt an overwhelming presence and heard a message that pierced through my sorrow: "This is for My glory." I broke down in tears, struggling to understand how my suffering could bring glory to God. But then I remembered the stories of those who came before me, those who we revere in the Bible. Their pain often became their purpose, a testimony to God's strength and love. It's humbling to think that God believes I can handle this, that He knows I will lean on Him through it all. It’s a reminder that even in our weakest moments, we are seen by Him. Our struggles are not in vain—they are part of a greater plan, a plan that brings glory to God. Thank you, Jesus, for your unending grace and for walking this journey with me. Your presence is my greatest blessing, and my heart is filled with gratitude for your relentless love. May I continue to grow in faith, love, and understanding, always trusting in your perfect timing and purpose for my life.
