A Mother’s Vision around Corners

"She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue." Proverbs 31:25-26

Mothers possess a unique gift - the ability to see beyond the present moment, to peer around corners, anticipating what lies ahead for our daughters. This vision is not born from clairvoyance but from love, wisdom, and experience. A mother’s heart is a compass, always pointing towards the well-being of her child. We know that life is not a straight path but a series of twists and turns, challenges mistakes and opportunities. Through the wisdom God gives us, we foresee the possible obstacles, and our job is to prepare them to navigate with their own wisdom and strength. We understand the unspoken fears and dreams of our daughters. We provide guidance, even when the path is unclear, it is in this foresight that a mother teaches her daughter to trust in the God who leads them both. Mothers want the best for their daughters, even when they may not understand or agree with it. A mother's love is deep and unwavering, and we know that sometimes the best choices are the hardest ones. We might see potential pitfalls or challenges that our daughters cannot yet perceive, and our desire to protect our child leads us to advocate, sometimes not in the most effective way for a different path. A mother’s wisdom is a blend of experience, intuition, and unwavering love. We know when their current pursuits, while seemingly fulfilling, may not lead to the best long-term outcomes. With patience and empathy drawn from your own experiences at that age.  Don’t give up in praying for their guidance towards better choices even when it means facing strong resistance or misunderstanding now. Allow God to speak to you and to her, so that His wisdom may guide your hearts and strengthen your bond. Trust in His divine plan, knowing that even through misunderstandings and challenges, His love and guidance will light your path.
